AUCTION RESULTS: Collection of Beswick model horses sells for £20,000

The sale of the collection was filmed as part of The Yorkshire Auction House television series, set to air on Really channel early in 2023.

Also included in the sale from the same vendor were rocking horses, and a collection of vintage opalescent decorative glass pieces by Lalique and other makers, with the total hammer price for all the items exceeding £27,000.

Auctioneer Angus Ashworth, said: ‘it wasn’t just the size of the collection which made it special, it included some scarce and sought after models. We had plenty of interest prior to the sale, from dealers and private buyers, locally and across the UK, and were very pleased with the results for our client on sale day.’

The next sale at Ryedale Auctioneers takes place on Friday 16th and Saturday 17th September, with the saleroom open for viewing Thursday 15th 10am-4pm. All the lots available to view online from the weekend prior to the sale at ryedaleauctioneers.com
