A silver Roman denarius of Hadrian (AD 117-138), dating to the period AD 130–133 (Reece Period 6). NILVS reverse type depicting Nilus reclining right on urn, holding cornucopia and reed, a hippopotamus in front and crocodile below. Mint of Rome.
