Fairbairn Sykes second patent commando knife with sheath, with brass grip, the crosspiece and blackened blade the crosspiece marked with broad arrow mark B2 complete with original leather sheath, a selection of various war period occupational money for Italy, France etc having belonged to John Hawkin, with full copies of service history and information provided by his son John Hawkin. John Hawkin Snr, former sapper of the Royal Engineers service number 2155439 became part of C.O.P.P (Combined Operations Assault Pilot Parties) and was involved in the marking out of the Normandy beaches in preparation for the D Day Landings, Hawkins served in X boat number 20 Juno Beach and later saw action in the Far East including Ceylon, Burma, etc, various photocopies of service and causalities forms, reports of C.O.P.P personnel, listed copies of the C.O.P.P heroes online list with details of Hawkin, and two copies of photographs of John Hawkin supplied by his family as well as details relating to the X20 boat operations
