Job Opportunity: Café Cook

Location: Gavel & Bean
Hours:

• 17-25 hours per week with some flexibility
• Worked Monday - Sunday 0830-1600 on a rota basis

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing and cooking a variety of café dishes in a timely manner
• Ensuring the kitchen is kept clean and organized at all times
• Maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene
• Collaborating with the front-of-house team to deliver exceptional customer experiences
• Adhering to portion and presentation standards

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in a similar kitchen or café role preferred
• Strong attention to detail and passion for cooking
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure
• Flexible and reliable with the ability to adapt to varying schedules
• Excellent communication and team-working skills
• Food safety certification is a plus, but not required
